If you regularly eat Coot-tha for breakfast, then push yourself further with our monster 110km route which adds to the 75km route by taking you up, down and west to the Moggill Ferry, the outskirts of Ipswich and a loop return via Redbank, Oxley and the traditional river route.

This route crosses Brisbane from east to west, and from top to bottom. This iconic Brisbane event features the Gateway Bridge, closed lanes on Kingsford Smith Drive and a car-free Inner City Bypass, then Brisbane’s famous climb – Mt Coot-tha!

40km

For an easier, flatter “Sights of Brisbane” tour, try the 40km route. Initially following the same route through South Brisbane, across the Gateway Bridge and along the Inner City Bypass, we then divert away from the 75km and 110km riders at Suncorp Stadium (rest stop), then continue along the river to UQ at St Lucia before returning to West End along the traditional river route.

10km Family Fun

Join us for a 10 km ride that is suitable for the whole family and cycle on some of Brisbane’s best bike paths along our magnificent river. Not familiar with this beautiful part of town? Don’t worry, our experienced ride leader will show you the way, no prior knowledge of inner-city bikeways necessary.

After the ride relax with a bite to eat, a coffee or a cold drink from the fantastic vendors at the finish site. For our younger riders, Bicycle Queensland has organised a variety of fun activities including a jumping castle.
